COURSE DESCRIPTIONS: CERTIFICATE AND DIPLOMA

TEDTH 110: Christian Understanding of God

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the Christian understanding of God. BISHOP PATTESON THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE

Theological Education in Distance

Bishop Patteson Theological Education by Distance is a new programme that is offered for the first time this year, 2015. This programme is run-off campus for people who for various reasons find it difficult to enroll at BPTC and STMs but would like to undertake studies in theology. The student pays for tuition fees and course materials at his or her expenses. Students enrolled in this programme may eventually graduate with Certificate of Theological Studies when specified requirements are completed. The courses will be offered as Certificate and Diploma courses.

The Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Melanesia the Most Rev. David Vunagi and the General Secretary of the Church Dr. Abraham Hauriasi have applauded the Principal, staff and students of Bishop Koete Vocational Training Centre for the developments in the school within the last four year period.

The Anglican Church of Melanesia will seriously considering how it can revive the current state of the Anglican owned ‘Taroaniara Mission Station’ located in the Diocese of Central Solomons,  Central Islands Province.
