Those who can run around looking for their own food when they are hungry, go to hospitals when sick and run to their parents or someone close to them to share their discomfort.

Mission to UK a Success: Br. Tovotasi

“OUR mission to the UK is truly a successful and a blessed one” head Brother of the Melanesian Brotherhood Br. Mathias Tovotasi said.

A Ten Member team from the four religious orders of the Church of Melanesia began the journey on the 21st March departing Honiara International airport.

Since the Anglican Church of Melanesia (Vanuatu) commenced the implementation of the Vanuatu Church Partnership Program (VCPP) with (AusAID and ABM) from 2010 to date, an increased number of communities have benefited from funded projects and resources channeled through this partnership Improved access to safe water, increased awareness and demonstrations of good hygiene practices are two key focus project activities being implemented by ACOM Vanuatu in some of the most remote, isolated and highly populated community areas in northern Vanuatu.

CHURCHES must take active roles in the fight against gender-based violence, a regional workshop was told Women delegates at the Pacific Conference of Churches 10th General Assembly in Honiara, the Solomon Islands, resolved that all theological colleges in the region must teach students about violence against women and children.
