The Sisters of the Church have officially blessed a permanent building at Kolohavi, St Scholastica’s House in the Diocese of Ysabel on 10th September 2023. The House consists of the Sisters’ home, a place where the Sisters will receive clients of domestic violence and welcome guests.
We would like to thank the following from the Diocese of Ysabel,:- the Mission Secretary, Fr Nelson and the Co-ordinator of Renewal and Evangelism, Fr Tabo, the Parish Priest Fr Daniel Deke and Fr Joseph the Chaplain of the Community at Kolohavi fro their tireless commitment and support towards the building.
Thank you to Sr Rita and all the Sisters for their tireless work, the faithful builders who also worked day and night, to the landowners, for ACOM who supported us with the funds for the first stage in time for the blessing, and for all who contributed by providing materials, cutting and carrying timbers and gravel.
The Blessing was witnessed by Associates, families, friends, and the local villages around Bugotu, Chiefs and the Mother Superior of CSC.
