MORE than two thousand (2000) people gathered at Buma Village on Saturday 19th July 2014 to witness the colorful welcome ceremony staged by the host region, Buma Parish of Central Region - Diocese of Malaita.

'Apprach we should have for mission work today is wholistic'.

Bishop of the Diocese of Central Solomon (DOCS) made the statement in his official remarks at the opening of the 7th synod.

The theme for the synod is ‘God and Steward are participants in the Divine Mission to save souls’.

“Some homes are no longer safe for women, young girls and Children”.

This is a sad state of affairs reflected in the statement echoed by the Coordinator of the Christian Care Centre (CCC) Sr. Doreen in an interview with ACoM Communications.
